Francisco Javier Lopes Morales

PhD in Urban Studies and Planning from the University of Social Sciences of Grenoble II, France, has 33 years of experience in the area of Cultural Heritage, as International Vice President for America at ICOMOS and representative of Mexico at meetings of the World Heritage Committee since 1996. Was in charge of evaluating the nominations for the UNESCO List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2009 and 2010, and has been the Director of World Heritage at the National Institute of Anthropology and History of Mexico (INAH) since 2001.
